A child’s academic struggle can be due to malfunctions in the learning process that are deeper than what other programs/tutors can correct. Our educational specialists actually uncover what is going wrong with the learning process and then they correct it.
Our programs are founded in educational cognitive psychology to provide the correct environment and challenge to facilitate a change in how the brain functions in learning and life. This allows them to overcome or diminish attention and learning disorders.

New learning technology gives us the ability to monitor and teach learning & attention skills. This allows us to provide healthy treatment alternatives that can enhance confidence and optimize attention, memory & learning skills for school and in life.

We will improve the overall function of the brains capacity to learn for the rest of their life. Our methods have been carefully developed to deliver superior care and heightened learning opportunities for each individual we serve. To that end, our services complement the goals of our program by teaching students though real world experiences and strategies that are essential to physical, cognitive and psychological growth.

We strive to provide the very best learning rehabilitation tools for the creation of a success-based environment that will facilitate the maximization of personal potential.
It is noted if extra fees apply for A + students.

We are proud to be the first school in Florida to offer this tremendous program!!

THREE INTERRELATED SYSTEMS IN iLs ACTIVITIES:

The integration of our visual, auditory and balance systems is the foundation for learning, and is essential for…

  • cognitive skills
  • communication & processing
  • concentration & attention
  • memory & organization

Benefits

  • DLS/ iLs addresses the root cause, not just symptoms, of many learning, attention and behavior problems
  • Students ’ average test scores/grades benefit from improvement of linguistic skills, psychomotor skills, personal and social adjustment skills, auditory skills, attention and cognitive skills.
  • Our classrooms have become more manageable and teachers are more likely to reach curriculum objectives

The Dynamic Listening System (DLS)Tomatis, is the first digital signal processing system to be designed for Tomatis-based auditory training. Beautiful Mozart music and soothing Gregorian chant flow from the state-of-the-art DLS equipment through the high quality Tomatis headphones used by the listener. This increases the capacity to learn by improving how the brain is functioning.

15-20 minutes of each session is allotted for the iLs integration activities. The balance of each session is spent doing creative and/or relaxing activities such as drawing, puzzles, fine-motor games, or just relaxing in a comfortable chair.

If you are at a stand still or plateau with other therapies-ie. ABA, Floortime etc.-You have probably benefited all you can from that therapy until you improve how the brain actually functions. Programs like ABA and floortime can only be as effective as the current neurological construct allows them to be. The neuro-technology aspect of DLS/ iLs Tomatis' will improve neurological functioning of the brain thus, maximizing the ability to learn and progress in other therapies. Furthermore, DLS/ iLs Tomatis has proven itself to be the most refined and efficient Tomatis based program in today's market.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn more about how this music-based sound stimulation can help you or your child expand your capabilities. Listening training may be your key to living life more fully.

The Plus in A+ Academy:

Our Multi-Intelligence curriculum (WOW) has so many faucets of learning that all students learn on a level ground even with gifted children.   "WOW kind of evens the playing ground for children with severe physical and learning disabilities. They all love it. All of our students have 90- 100% retention of what is presented. It is totally amazing. We have children with CP that can not write are excited about the WOW lessons. Writing takes them 5-10 times the amount of energy that a typical student uses. Some of them have gifted levels of comprehension, they just can not write or it's exhausting for them to write.
Students with dyslexia need the interactive qualities of WOW rather than written lessons that accentuate their disability.

Students with autism benefit from the playfulness of the WOW Multi-Intelligence curriculum to engage their attention and social interaction. The playfulness also is helping their desire to speak and use their language skills."
